Speaking at the White House's health care summit today, Sen. Dick Durbin asked his Congressional colleagues to step back and take a moment to think about those less fortunate. "Shouldn't our health insurance but good enough for the rest of America. Why do we continue to discriminate against people when we know that each one of us is only one accident or one diagnosis away from being one of those unfortunate few who can't afford or can't find health insurance," said Durbin.

  • I buy a medium cheese pizza, I'm 31, with diabetes, it costs 10 bucks. A 70 year old woman with breast cancer pays 10 bucks. A 15 year old healthy child pays 10 bucks. Why are the prices discriminatory in health care? It is immoral, illegal, and entirely unethical. Health Insurance Companies have Carte Blanche to rob the American public and abuse their power to rob from the sick and the old, and the female! Enough is enough! I believe in a better way.

  • I would VOTE for you Dick!!!!!!
