I have an immense respect for Rhythm and Blues early electric guitarists in the 40's. I recognize them as the real pioneers of Rock and Roll music. Charlie Christian, the leader, inventor of the "bop-chorus" guitar solo style, T.Bone Walker, and many other underrated great musicians. I have made this book (written in french) and this painting (printed as a poster) to pay hommage to them. The "jazz" had been nothing but a sophisticated white concept, as Johnny Otis didn't stop to claim, a manner to supplant the real popular Afro-american Music Art, scorned during a long time under the etiquette of "race records", which is the Blues and the Rhythm and Blues. The History of it had been widely falsified. The success of Rock'n'Roll music close to my generation, refusing segregation tricks, induced to the curiosity of discovering the source, the roots, the real human creators, so much often robbed, and to restitute their "great contribution" like said B.B.King.
