Dr. James McKinsey, the Vascular Surgery Site Chief at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center in New York City, explains how surgeons install a stent into a carotid artery using a minimally invasive procedure.
Thanks for your post. This is the editor for NYP's You Tube channel. It's difficult for me to get Dr. McKinsey's attention. He has a busy schedule and is often in the operating room. Please give his office a call. Here is the number: 212-342-3255. Best of luck to you. - New York-Presbyterian
I am considering this procedure to my right side carotid artery blockage of around 70%. I am 55 yo and in great shape physically. Would this procedure work for me versus someone older.
