It isn't often that blue is the color of choice at the University of Louisville. March 4, 2011 was a day that it was acceptable.
Kentucky's First Lady, Jane Beshear joined former Louisville First Lady, Madeline Abramson and other UofL officials for Dress in Blue Day, presented by the Kentucky Cancer Program and UofL Health Care.
The event is to help create awareness of colon cancer and how important it is to get screened.
People were also educated as they walked through the SuperColon inflatable display.
