Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins, co-authors of Left Behind, reveal that they disagree on whether Jesus' return will be soon—but both hope to see it happen.
@BroadwayFREAK01 Because this sort of Carletan thinking is held by enough people that they begin to affect the policies of elected politicians and are a threat to future generations. The end is not. We need to make long term plans for our future generations and not weak minded short term plans for a rapture that will never come. I classify this sort of thinking with drug dealers and cultists.
After the current batch of the old rapture-hustlers like Harold Camping, Hal Lindsey, Tim LaHaye, John Hagee, etc. have all died, will people finally grow up mentally and realize that Jesus won't come back with a sack full of presents for them?
The delusions of the "rapture", seven-year tribulation, and a future antichrist -- all are productions of the great deceiver -- Satan! Dispensationalist fantasies. Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkis are two great charlatans!
I am sure in 1954, the people of Phenix City, Alabama could not foresee their city being taken over by the Alabama National Guard. And so to the day will come when sin will be so great that it will happen. I want all who don't believe to know, Jesus will come, you may not live to see it, you may be killed in automobile in the next hour, you will live forever. The only question is where?
Wars and rumors of wars just like Jesus predicted. "Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the only way to atone for your sins. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice because He lived a life without sin and died for you. He paid the price for our sins. It is a free gift of salvation that God offers to you. Will you accept it? I pray that you find truth in your life. Jesus is the only truth that anyone needs. God bless you as you seek after Him. Repent and ask him into your heart today!
