  • You really need to use classes and/or structs :D It would make the whole project more managable :)

  • yeh I should have but it would be wayyy to hard to implement that now. My new balls 3d game has much better structure.

  • any example of how to do that

  • cplusplus(dot)com/doc/tutorial/classes(dot)html

  • Hm... this looks interesting. Mind if I take a look?

  • its made in dark gdk.

    i use dark basic pro.

  • can this be made in dev?

  • I would like to see your code, please, thank you :)

  • People want to just Jump into everything, just when they've first started programming. Getting Advanced sourcecode, will NOT improve your abilities. copy / Paste is the most popular way what people do. But firstly, do what other people do. Get a book, and read through, and Understand BIT By BIT. Thats how all of us became experienced. And next time. Think before you jump into Everything!

  • I'm pretty good in c++, but very new to Dark GDK. I have an example I created from a program already included with Dark GDK. I can send it. What I am trying to do is take FPS Creator and extract a static environment to load into Dark GDK. I recently done GTA modding and became very good at c++ then. I would like to see a copy of your code too. Thanks!

  • Here's a note to beginners:

Even though the source code for the fps is given away, it may be very hard to understand at first. But I suggest you keep the code and study it. You may learn a lot, or you may learn nothing, but let me tell you the code isn't going to be SUPER EASY to understand.

In fact, I mean a tutorial, (its on my channel), it was called Picking up Weapons, it was based off of this source code.

Just giving people tips here :)

  • please send me the code it'll be very useful and hopefully it'll improve my skills

  • pqowieuryt101 could you please send me the code please.

  • Any chance i could get a copy of the code for your FPS? Theres a few things i want to look at.

    Cheers

  • i think if you use pointers and dynamic memory allocation (correctly), your game would be much faster.
