  • @groovestuf1 Ballet has changed a lot in just the last 200 years. You might want to read up on old ballet verus new. You'll see huge differences. It wasn't even common for a dancer to dance in point until the 1800's.

  • Hey groovestuf1, nobody raped anything. They created something new out of the shapes of ballet. Relax, no one's harming ballet. Just gasp along with everyone else, then you can be pure again.

  • @groovestuf1 Perhaps I am mistaken then in referring to it as ballet. In truth, I think of it as a hybrid. It may not have a place in the traditional repertoire, so be it.

  • @jshinal Well that's why you're wrong, the problem is that ballet isn't supposed to be changed, it has been the same for centuries, that's what makes it special. If we would change it, it wouldn't be special anymore but just like all the other dancestyles.
