Using Mirka Abralon to wet sand the bonnet of this Saxo, before polishing to perfection using Menzerna IP PO85RD3.02. We then applied a coat of the new Rubbish Boy's wax as LSP

  • what sort of sanding diskd are these and are they readily availible?

  • more the level of swirls

  • Great Job.

So if the Menzerna Products are made to take swirls and scratches out, what is the point of wetsanding?

Is it to "level" the clear coat?

    Thanks for your help.

  • Ive a quick question for you, how much of the clear coat are you taking off by wet sanding? and how much grit are you using?

  • you'll brighten the area, but likely will not correct oxidation with just a porta cable as the buffing tool. better to use a rotary buffer and to hire a professional if you're not skilled with the rotary.

  • Can you bring up oxidised paint only using the Menzerna with a PC?
