you'll brighten the area, but likely will not correct oxidation with just a porta cable as the buffing tool. better to use a rotary buffer and to hire a professional if you're not skilled with the rotary.

So if the Menzerna Products are made to take swirls and scratches out, what is the point of wetsanding?
Is it to "level" the clear coat?
