USCG 44' MLB & Helo Ops, SF Bay 1992

Coast Guard Station Golden Gate 44385 and Air Station San Francisco with a HH-60 conduct hoisting drills off Alcatraz Island in San Francisco Bay, 1992. MLB 44835 was originally assigned to Station Fort Point, and moved with 44347 over to the newly built Station Golden Gate in April of 1990. The move was facilitated to prepare for the eventual closing of the Presidio of San Francisco. The 44' MLB's were replaced with 47' MLB.
