If you notice, the tumba sounds without the conguero playing it. ..

LoL at the fake "Tumba" track... get rid of that!

Get rid of 2 of the (4) horn players and just keep sax and trombone. Then add a 1 bass player. Some of those horn players were so off-key...start by getting rid of them. Probably the "tinny, whiny " trumpets.

For me get rid of the traps and add a bongo, then replace the sax and 'bone with 2 more trumpets.

horns are weak, get sax and bone only and it will tighten, loose the trumpets.

drummer is crashing cymbals too much. nice keys, vocals and congas.
