Some cameras and items of my pre-war Leica camera-collection.
Yes, "Hector" ist wrong spelled in the video, "Hektor" is the correct name of the 13,5cm lens.
Background-music was a old pre-war advertising-song for the Leica-camera.

P.S. Some may recognize this video from my old Youtube-account. Unfortunately i had to delete my old account and create a new one, because i wasn't able to "connect" my old Youtube-account with my new Google-account. Maybe because my old account was created before Google took over Youtube.

  • there are replicas of these on the internet, in your opinion do you think they would be functional and could take pictures???, i am thinking of getting a replica as the real ones are becoming very rare and hard to get

  • @THEWARLORD602

The russian Zorki and FED-replicas are often to find in a good condition and almost in the same quality as the original Leicas. Only the mechanical parts often needs a overhaul and cleaning.

  • Maybe nazi

Did you read the title? "PRE-WAR Leica camera collection"! The III was build in 1934, the IIIa in 1939! The song is even older (from the late 1920s) and only a german advertising-song for the Leica-cameras as it was usual at this time for promoting products.

  • @ancestorsrelic The nazis were in power during 1939

  • @ITSbigwillystyle

Yes, and if you would know something about Ernst Leitz jun., you would know too, that he called the Nazis as "brown monkeys" and that he safed a lot of jewisch workers by sending them into other countries (especially to the USA) to safe their lifes.
