Why is it that with black boys it is assumed that they should have a hair cut instead of a hair style. The only way yall do his hair is because he won't allow it to be cut, but I didn't see anybody trying to cut lucas hair. This is why my son will never get a hair cut becuase it's like society says he can't have it : is that because he's black ? they can think again. Everybody asks me aren't you going to cut his hair? like it's just so hideous for black boys to have. Their hair is beautiful too.

You are reading to much in this. It is not at all about being black or white. All we wanted to say is that Salomon does want to wear his hair long, he does not want any other style than cornrows at this point in time. His hair is awesome when he has it out of braids, he has the most georgeous curls.

I totally agree with you, I love long hair on boys.

Einfach waschen?Ich arbeite in der Medizin-Hygiene ist da wichtig.Und für 2 Tage son Aufwand......

Hallo, eine ausfuehrliche Pflegeanleitung findest Du auf unsere Homepage.

Cornrows sind aber sehr pflegeleicht. Einmal waschen pro Woche reicht. Und da deine Haare festgeflochten sind, kannst Du auch keine verlieren = bessere Hygiene. Was meinst Du mit "für 2 Tage so einen Aufwand?". Die Cornrows halten 1 bis 1/2 Monate.

Hi, ich hatte mir vor der WM in Südafrika auch einmal Cornrows auf einem Afrikafestival machen lassen, allerdings nur über den halben Kopf und mit Gummis - grün und gelb, passend zu Afrika. Das sah echt spitze aus, offen oder zusammengebunden. Bin gerade am überlegen, ob ich es noch einmal machen lassen soll. Afrikanische Frisuren finde ich einfach toll, doch bei Afrikanern sieht es immer noch am besten aus.
