  • I rally loved these young ladies when they first came, out and I still right today still enjoy them especially the older songs, this one especially, it has some sentimental value behind it. someone ,please tell me, are they all still alive. irvinbean123

  • Sister Sledge is currently alive and well with all four sisters in their early to mid fifties. Their most recent performance as a group was at the Pennsylvania Inagural Ball in January (minus Debbie), which is documented on YouTube. There are also videos of recent performances of Joni and Kathy in their solo acts.

  • magic sound that lasts for ever but are there no moving pictures of the concert?

  • Get up to get down.

  • Don't know why, but this is one of the funkiest disco songs i ever heard. The bass, that singing. Just great

  • I love this song... the bass is great.... I although like paul weller with his version of this song... but this one is still a little bit better ;-)

  • been looking for this frikkin song for ages,i love sister sledge!

  • You should check out the original studio recording. It's by far the best version of this song. Nile on guitar and Bernard on bass tear it up, not to mention Sister Sledge's vocals are better too.
