Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, that the final House health care reform bill will allow young Americans to stay on their parents' insurance through age 26. On the same day, a group of 20 youth organizations, the Y.I. Want Change Coalition, called on House members to push for reform that benefits young Americans.
It's just bread and circus for the crowds
To get young voter out of the clouds
Vote for the Health Care Plan & you'll win
but ignore all the dangers & political spin
The problem isn't Health Care,it's jobs Ms Speaker
What value is insurance when your future gets bleaker
Help young people to get work, you fool,
and stop trying to make them your tool
Nice try Nancy, but we all know it's a lie
The REAL price of you "option' is much to high

Allowing kids to stay on their parents policy until they're 27?? So really they're trying to make it so that the kids don't have to be responsible and self relient. This is what disgusts me the most about progressives, no self-reponsibility. They all think they're entitled to a hand-out.

Young people will be devastated by socialized medicine. Insurance is not a right, it's a private tool that people can purchase. The "public option" only transfers the cost of health insurance to others, it doesn't reform anything. The system isn't broken.
