In an interview senior fellow with Center for Advanced Studies on Terrorism, Farhana Ali talks about the latest developments in Pakistan including the return of IDPs to Malakand and Dir. She said in order to maintaining peace in the areas some military presence is imperative. While talking about the source of funding for the militant organizations she said it was very difficult to pinpoint the sources but many foreign players were actively pursuing their strategic goals. She believes the US administration will continue to use drone to target Al-Qaeda and Taliban elements in the tribal areas of Pakistan.
