Amateur Unlimited Superbike - CCS Racing @ Blackhawk Farms July 1, 2012

This is the Amateur Unlimited Superbike race, this was my last race of the day and there was a red flag after 2 laps so we had to sit on hot pit lane and wait until the track was cleaned up before we took the grid again for a restart and a 6 lap race. Both race starts I was in 1st until being passed due to tire issues. My front tire was sliding through the T3 carousel and I had to dig my knee into the track to hold myself up so that I wouldn't lowside. I maintained 2nd place holding off John Erdman until the last lap when he passed me on the brakes into T1. After that I knew I wouldn't catch him because of the tire issues and sliding.

BTW, this video is only the first 2 laps of the race, apparently my camera battery died after that.

The temps were in the upper 90's to 100 so laptimes were way off due to the excessive heat and near dehydration conditions.

I may have forgetten to turn off the GoPro after the race, sorry about that.
