It's scary. I don't like bugs and it sounds like one. hehe
-
can you use a FLED for the 1381 instead?
-
IT GOING TO KILL US ALL! there's always a blond girl who trips over her own foot in the horror movies and allows the extremely slow moving attacker to WALK up and kill them, so this will be great!
-
looks like a mosquito

Very nice! Is the circuit diagram public?
-
Nice. Try using a smaller cap and bigger wheels. Goes alright considering the dull light in the room.
-

The main cap is 4700uF
.22mfd on the trigger ones, if I remember correctly.

Why don't you use a smaller value capacitor?
then it will go faster and responds more rapidly.
Pretty cool though..

quicker pops, but MUCH smaller steps, for this bot.
Can't have it both ways.
Thanks for the suggestion. It's fun to experiment.

How much did it cost to build this, and where did you order the parts from?

There is a Great tutorial for a basic photopopper, similar to this one. I've built dozens from his tutorial and they work great! !
Google: RAY'S BEAMBOT TUTORIAL.
For parts: solorbotics
