  • isnt this like only 200 bucks? cheap for a pump

  • yeah about $200, it was $140 when i got mine a few years ago. Never had any problems and I shoot it a lot. Accurate as well.

  • Hey Bro. I have the 18.5 in. barrel model. First time shooter myself, haven't shot it yet. Can you suggest how to use the bead sight? And,how are you sighting slugs at 35 yds? I cant wait to get mine to a range. Don't have the time. Oh and mine cost $150.00, I couldn't belive my eyes cause the construction is great. I've seen more expensive youth models by Remmy and Mossy that looked and felt like junk.

  • Well some guns shoot "point of sight" which means the bullet or slug will impact in the area covered by your front sight bead or blade. Other guns shoot "point of aim" which means the bullet or slug will impact right above your front sight bead or blade. Your gonna have to fire the weapon and find out the way it shoots because 2 of the same models could come off the assembly line and shoot different.

  • Your bead sight is simple and easy. Hold the gun like your gonna fire it, lower the front just enough to let the front bead sight just start to dissapear and you'll be close enough to get a feel for the weapon and how it shoots. Good luck and have fun. Be Safe.

  • @Captb55806 The steel is thicker and of better grade than the 870 as well

  • i like the one with a walnut stock better but for that price there all good

  • @chaz3345 well worth it tho. I got mine for 159 a few years back. At one point could take 3 clays out the air with 3 shots when i was shooting alot. damn price of shot shells is the problem now. goin up like gas :(. Gettin the 18.5 inch for the house. Can't beat the value. Its practically exactly the same as 870. My buddy has one so im speaking first hand. But the factory buttstock is more comfy than the factory buttstock on the 870. that extra rubber padding is a miracle when shooting alot

  • If you really think about it the Pardner Shotgun is really not bad. New England Firams is own by F.G.I which owns Remington, Marlin, Bush Master and Para Ordnace.

So its the samething as a Remington but at a cheeper price. Its better to buy the Pardner then the Mossberg Marvick 88 which has cheep ass parts that come from Mexico.

  • u totally messed up somebody's lawn!

  • @chaz3345 they are a good gun for the money, I paid $159 for mine about two years ago.

  • These are cool and almost ALL Remington 870 parts are interchangeable.

  • Great gun! I have a cammo one and it is one of the best pumps out there. If you like the 870, you'll love this gun.
