What a pity to spotlight a totally competent vocalist to sing the RARELY Performed lyric version (written by Mitchell Parrish) of this Georgeous Song, and then drown her out totally by the full-volume, gung-ho orchestra, which should have carressed her during her portion of the song. Great Talent all around, but the director needs to rethink the overall arrangement. L K R in Palm Springs.

Youtube also has a concert-band version (no vocal) of this done last year at Salem (Ohio) Country Club.

My web site is found using key words "carl moore music" and it's got a Leroy Anderson page with subpage Belle of the Ball. I'm thinking of taking a copy of that version and transposing 1/2 step down (no big deal to do) to match the concert-band performances I have found on youtube.
