It's actually not that hard to get the hang of the danso and I think there are lots of other instruments around the ... See Moreworld that work in a similar way, though I don't know any names. It's essentially just a hollow stick with holes. At the end where you blow, there's a notch that cuts the air as you blow, making a sound that you can change by covering some of the holes. If you're in Korea, pop into a music store. They're about $5 for the plastic ones. Prob. available online too. :)
