God of War, skipping a grappling part at Athens's gates

Turns out you can do this grappling part without grappling at all. I'm not up to date with all the newest strategies of GoW (apart from the highest jump, etc.), but I imagine this is something never-thought-of before.

If there's a legionnaire waiting at the pushable statue, this video also shows a strange strategy to get rid of his meddling.

As a bonus there's a clip of the three cyclops fight I recorded earlier today. This strategy is probably know already, though.

What air combo are you doing to get that extra height?

On this vid it seems to be ascension, Poseidon's Rage, L1+X (needs lv. 2 blades). To glide up the roof is another thing, though (have to hold block... and/or roll... grabbing can also help... it's a tricky thing to explain.)

Yeah pushing the cyclops off is faster but thats where i have to gain my extra 1-2 bars to lvl PR for the medusa battle.

It seemed to me that he was pissed how easily Kratos slapped him around, and if he was gonna save face, he had to beat Kratos fair and square. Killing Kratos while he was busy just wouldn't do him justice.
