  • When i first herd this song in Blood money im like "Holy crap..Jesper Kyd is a damn genius at composeing music."

  • A truly unique song, touching the new untouched dark disturbed senses, brilliantly created.

  • @thebigdestroyer111 you can not compare those two

  • Jesper Kyd V.S. Mozart . We all know who wins

  • @nothke It's actually "Requiem, Eterna Donna, Eis" which is cut down from the lyrics in the Hitman 2 main title "Requiem, eterna donna, eis domine, et lux perpetua". They're the words of the Latin Reqiuem (funeral) mass, which many composers have used over the ages and written (check out Mozart's and Gabriel Faure's Requiems, among others).

  • When I listen to this, I imagine a cemetery on a beach... peaceful, but austere.

  • @Micro94Ice holy shit, I can't hear anything like that, the both of you have quite an imagination.

  • @nothke You're wrong: it's not "FELICITA VIVAT ADORA" it's "REQUIEM AETERNAM DONA" which means "Grant them eternal rest".

  • Wow, i come back here after a year or so and i see 34 likes for my comment!? im glad to see that im not the only one who thinks the same way about Kyd! That guy deserves more awareness when it comes to video game music truly ya know? But...its really sad that IOI dropped the ball for Kyd in Hitman 5....it wont ever be the same without the guy because he MADE Hitman for what it was. Hitmans soundtrack played a huge part in bringing that atmosphere to life and thats why i said he is a damn genius!

  • Whispering sounds to me (after listening to this piece 100 times) like "FELICITA VIVAT ADORA" which would mean "happiness, live, worship" in Latin... Happiness doesn't make sense unless it's sarcastic.. I'd somehow guarantee "vivat adora" is correct, the first part might be something else. But anyway it's just me and my ears.. It could just be apophenia..

  • @Erv187 those voices are the Hitman 2 title screen theme if you listen closely.

  • sounds like I.G.I.
