A suburban traversing our driveway in deep snow.
Four wheel drive engaged, no chains or studs, just good siped all season tires.
Yes it's poor quality. no I didn't think the world cares about this video. But those I intend to send the link to might :-)

  • Saw this come up when watching another video. Thought, "yeah-ah, that's right, burbs rock" and then "that kinda looks like my burb" and then "by golly, that IS my burb".

  • @chhanemerson

great, maybe next time you'll kill a family heading home from Grandma's you dick head

  • I had a 98 Land Rover Discovery that I put $12k into since 2006 and just couldn't take the costs of repairing it anymore, so I bought a 2004 Z71 Suburban last week and it gets twice the gas mileage my Disco got. The Disco was amazing in the snow, so I'm kind of anxious to see how the Suburban compares.

  • @cooper8318 amen! but i have a 00 sierra z71 off road. gets over 20 mpg bone stock. even with 12 ply tires (range load E)

  • who needs a plow when you got a suburban. lol

  • Is that suburban electric??? Its soo quiet

  • I sold my 02 z71 suburban three months ago when gas hit $4 a gal. Replaced it with a 5 series BMW (better MPG), miss the burban so much I dont care about gas anymore. bought another one yesterday and I cant wait for the snow! Can I get an AMEN?

  • I have a 2005 GMC Yukon it is the winter must have.

  • LIKE A ROCK!

  • I have a '99 LT 4x4 5.7L. The thing with Burbans, is that they are SOOOO heavy, they don't crawl over the snow, like a light Jeep with big tires. The Burban just PUSHES everything out of the way. Even without a plow on the front, I pushed my way through 2ft of snow down my 100ft driveway a few years back.

All you need is some decent tires with traction for snow and ice. I'm just using some cheaper BFG Long Trails, and even they do well enough. Also, I live in Western WA. VERY HEAVY snow here.
