Honestly, i know it's tempting, but try to avoid showing material until it's finished. I can say some stuff about this, but because it isn't finished, i can't honestly critique it. What i can say is is don't try to be like anyone else. Take your time and craft a song that you feel expresses or gets across an idea to the listener in a way that you find truly yours. These riffs have potential, but are just riffs, so what i've heard so far is quite, er, hollow. Btw, your song title made me listen.

As well as what putrefaction said, add some sporadic djents, not just the 1 2 3. polymeter makes djent fun.

no offence, but your writing skills are bad but your technique is good, this is too repetitive
the thing that make periphery amazing are their arrangements and their ability to make something interesting.. you gotta put some variety into that.

See man.. this is in the VERY early stages. Theres gonna be things moved around, plenty of parts will be added and such. I dont have too much experience writing songs, but itll get better. Believe me.
