mine just started doing this today. i did some research and saw that it is a common problem, commonly diagnosed by an apple "genius" as a problem with the expensive logic board. apparently it is being falsely diagnosed so apple can skip out on giving you free repair. dont trust the geniuses! take it to someone/somewhere else who knows computers.
unless you have applecare. then just get that shit fixed on their tab ;) im taking mine in tomorrow!

Nope I dont!
I took it to apple yesterday and they said its the logic board.
It will cost 310 dollars to fix.
Mine does the EXACT same thing as yours does. So if the genius properly diagnosed my computer... at least now you have a clue as to whats wrong with yours.
Good luck, hope you can get it fixed.
Thanks for the quick response.

@MIGHToKONdriak Thanks for the heads up! I'm glad it's going to be covered under my protection plan.

What happened??? What was wrong with it? Was it the hard drive like you suspected?

@MIGHToKONdriak I'm in Ukraine right now so I can't take it to the Apple Store to get it fixed until I get back to the States in June. I'll know for sure then. I hope you have Apple Care like I do!
