the 2.1 mach is reached high up in the air where the air is thinner, it would probably not have the same top speed if it were at ground level (see thrust ssc or bloodhound ssc for example, the bloodhound has more thrust than a eurofighter typhoon, does it reach the same speed? no)

F-16 has a slow start.. but once it gets going theres no chance for the Lambo
