On December 6, 2009, Dothan Police responded to a Robbery at the Beeline Store located in the 1300 block of Hodgesville Road. A black male entered the store and was armed with a possible handgun and demanded money. During the Robbery the suspect placed two store employees in the office and then fled the scene in an unknown direction.




Two Dothan Police Detectives were working a detail when they spotted a maroon Mercury Sable in the area of South St. Andrews Street and East Selma Street. The vehicle matched the description of a vehicle used during the Robbery of Subway that occurred on December 3, 2009. The officers attempted to stop the vehicle and a pursuit ensued. The suspect fled from the officers until he struck another vehicle in the 2700 block of Cottonwood Road where he was taken into custody.




The suspect identified as black male Victor Lee Dozier, 36 years of age of Young America Drive. Dozier was arrested for Robbery First Degree and Attempting to Elude.




As a result of the investigation Dozier was also charged with the following Robberies:

Ø Kentucky Fried Chicken, 109 Ross Clark Circle that occurred on November 17, 2009.




Ø Kentucky Fried Chicken, 1801 Ross Clark Circle that occurred on November 22, 2009.




Ø Hop-In, 1676 Cottonwood Road that occurred on November 30, 2009.




Ø Subway, 2336 Ross Clark Circle that occurred on December 3, 2009.




Ø Hop-In, 3260 Hartford Highway that occurred on December 4, 2009




Ø Shell Food Mart, 3376 West Main Street that occurred on December 5, 2009.




Dozier was booked in the Dothan City Jail on seven counts of Robbery First Degree and one count of Attempting to Elude. Bond was set at $1,000,000 on each Robbery charge and $250,000 for the attempting to Elude.
