Having survived countless hours of rigorous scientific testing at the hands of Glidewell Laboratories' award-winning R&D department, BruxZir® has been called "chip-proof," "bullet-proof," and "virtually unbreakable."  Never satisfied, we decided to up the ante by pitting it against a traditional PFM in a less conventional test we dubbed... the Hammer Test.

  • @tummypinky2 Keep your face out of trouble. Blows to the face are usually caused by behavioral issues. Sometimes they are your behavioral issue, sometimes they come from standing the line when backing off would work better for someone elses behavioral problem, and sometimes your ass is dog meat, no matter what.

i think the bigger issue is wear to the opposing teeth.

  • Cool, but I might want my porcelain to fracture, as a stress breaker, during trauma to the jaw. Bragging rights after a deadly blow to the face: zirconia intact -- tooth root splintered.

  • Funny stuff guys. We all know PFM's are weak compaired to monolithic zirconia so why not try this test vs a gold crown.

Better yet, if you want to call it bullet proof then why not shoot it. That would make for a great vid.

  • Isnt PFM stronger then normal teeht?
