This is the original Angel In My Arms, father daughter wedding dance song. Written back in 1995, this song came about when I was asked to write a song for my young niece. One week later, I was asked to write a song for my cousin who was getting married. I saw the great relationship my wife has with her father, their relationship and the 2 requests inspired me to write the song.

This is so my daddy! he was always the family fighter, the bad boy with manners, and the big tough marine, but when my older sister was born he told me he was scared to death of hurting her and the same went for me a little over a year later. This song makes me cry so much! I danced with my father to this song on the day of my Quincenera (my 15th birthday) a celebration into adult hood. This song was of my choice and I cry everytime I listen to it. I am now 18 and I love my dad soo much! The part when you said "you were 5 and off to school" I cried even more because I remember when my dad took me to preschool and I cried because I didn't want him to leave. I remember that. I will cherish it forever. Great song!
