  • anyone else notice how hard hat use is usually required in such a place where it wouldnt do a damn thing to save anyone?

  • Did it run aground stern first or hit a rock or something? Looks lucky that the rudder shaft didn't fall out- could blow out the rudder room bulkheads and sink the damn boat.

  • @riverpilot69 I kind of agree if it is a floating dry dock, Im a service engineer for LNG tankers and have worked in dry docks all around the world and on every continent (mainly the UAE, Asia, South America and Europe) - and not once have I ever seen anyone wearing a life jacket, or had to wear one as it was a H&S regulation?

  • ill have it fixed by tuesday.

  • The propeller usually made from what material?

  • what the hell kinda strike does it take to sheer a shaft that big??
