@chrysillo No, but the original doesn't have electric guitars and power chords for the entire song - it's mostly horns. Also, I wanted to differentiate it from the orchestra remixes i've seen.

You know you've seen too much Thundercats when you see a single screencap and remember it's the end scene of one of the episodes where, in response to a lame 'O Snarf comment, Lion 'O says something that BARELY QUALIFIES AS A JOKE and everyone laughs in unison. I totally love that scene. :p
