Delta Spirit, California

SPIN called Delta Spirit "one of those rare groups who sound great on record but sound even better live" — and that dynamic was readily apparent during this stripped-down Brooklyn performance of "California," off the band's 2012 self-titled album. And while their newest studio set finds them shifting in a bold new direction with ethereal sounding, arena-ready anthems, laced with drum machines and samples, Delta Spirit revisited their earlier, Americana-tinged sound with this rendition.
