Brian Holland in concert at the annual BLIND BOONE RAGTIME & EARLY JAZZ FESTIVAL.

It was a wonderful experience to hear him play on a big concert grand at the Missouri Theater in Columbia, Missouri. The festival is in early June and offers a tremendous array of super talented ragtime and traditional jazz musicians.

Brian delivers an electric performance of a Thomas "Fats" Waller composition entitled, "BACH UP TO ME."

He has a wide selection of CD's available, and you can drop in on his website above to find where he'll be performing, and to purchase his CD's.

I hope you can be there next year!

  • To the person who commented negatively on Church and people that attend. My boy, when your at your last breath, I sincerely hope, you have a better view than this and have met the only hope you have, otherwise, better get an Asbestos Suit, and I am sure it wont help.

    May God open your Eyes.

Your point is utter hogwash suitable for consumption only by gullible suckers.

All of Theology is simply a waste of time and thought.

    Merry Christmas,

I always considered that The Tooth Fairy was considerably more generous to me than JC.

I'll go with her since I never did have much trust in guys wearing robes, and giving sermons on mountain tops.

  • @tdub1941 And I would not for my life destroy the one chance they have of getting out of Hell. If hell does exist, being optimistic about it or ignoring it won't help anything, only trust in Jesus Christ will.

"I would not for my life destroy one star of human hope, but I want it so that when a poor woman rocks the cradle and sings a lullaby to the dimpled darling, she will not be compelled to believe that ninety-nine chances in a hundred she is raising kindling wood for hell." ~ Robert Ingersoll

You can save lots of time and money if you just buy the CD's of some of these performers rather than wasting your money in a collection plate at church. Church is a bad influence on people, and causes major disturbances in the psycho epistemology of all individuals that attend.

Thanks for your nice comment above.

  • I just went to a black church for the first time and Ive noticed a lot of the music they sing sounds very similar to most of stride and ragtime pieces I've heard..It's very interesting.

  • Lewislu. What do yu mean,I am English and am absolutely begeistert von dieser Musik.I find it out of this world;a dazzling display of virtuosity on this most difficult of instruments.I am hopping as I write this.I don't of course, know about the rest of GB;who cares-this music is the real McCoy!

  • This is phenomenal! But,how does the piano take it?It must be in dire need of repair after this scorching performance..Truly amazing!

  • Hi Nudgie68!

Thanks for watching and leaving your nice comment!

I'll be enjoying Brian's piano playing a month from now in Sedalia, Missouri at the Scott Joplin Ragtime festival.

    BEST RAGards,
