  • Pure magic. I watch this over and over. Is there a whole movie, please I want to have it. thanks

  • @markostanko: This song is the movie, but for an introductory scene without music of Chet walking downstairs & across a deserted hall.

There is an announcement that he will perform.

  • I was lucky to see Chet and this ensemble in Paris in 1987. I was staying in Amsterdam's Memphis Hotel in May, 1988 and learned after his death on May 13, 1988, that he was planning on staying at the Memphis, but was sold out upon his arrival from Rotterdam. I was fortunate to see one of the early screenings of "Chet's Romance" at New Morning in Paris on June 21, 1989. The evening was billed as "Hommage a Chet Baker". I haven't seen the clip for 21 years, and it brings back great memories.

  • Words run short when trying to describe the musical impact of Chet Baker. He really is one of the greatest musical performers in the last century. This is a beautiful example, thank you for posting it on the internet!
