@traxxas1234567890 4.0 can be any engine. its just the size
-
@sparts227 I have a Banks on my 2.5l and it sounds pretty damn good. Does not sound like a Ricer or a Fart Can
-
@traxxas1234567890 No. 4.0litre I6 is different than a V6. I-6 is an Inline engine... Meaning all cylinders are in a straight line.

Dirty ass jeep dude. Gotta love the 4.0l
-
@sparts227 the 2.5L is a four, right? I know someone that put a Thrush muffler on it and it sounds pretty nice
-
and the v6 is a 3.8 where the straight is a 4.0
-
Sounds great. Thanks for the vid

I had the 2.5L and I ran it with no cat and a cherrybomb turbo muffler. It had a very deep tone and everyone thought it was the 4.0L lol. Loved the sound of it

i have the 2.5L
can i have your opinion, is it even worth getting an aftermarket exhaust... i don't want my jeep to sound like a ricer... do u know any exhausts that sound good on a 2.5?

I mean it will defintely make it hard to keep it a low tone pitch.... Ive personally never messed around with 2.5 l for exhaust but have seen some buddies of mine do it, i would recommend keeping ur cat on and finding a 2 chambered muffler, i believe flowmaster calls it there 60 series, and then welding a turn down and dumping it right before the rear axle or underneath the cab...That way it will keep it a very very low tone and pitch as possible...hope this helps
