I have only been playing in a band for 1 year, & suprisingly won the audition for frontman for the band I am in now. Its a long haired 80s tribute band. his voice is so raspy, how can you tell nothing wrong with the cords? just curious. :)

@Salsero12 Phil has been a professional singer for years. He has sustained some damage but not to the npoint of losing range. This is why it is critical he start taking this seriously. Good question :-)

I wish I could afford vocal lessons. It's such a drag wanting to improve my singing and not being able to because I don't have the money to. I have major issues with belting all my high notes and singing them in my throat instead of my diaphragm. I can't for the life of me figure out how to fix it. Music and singing are the loves of my life, though. I can't give up.
