Dr. John-Roger is a teacher and lecturer of international stature and an inspiration in the lives of thousands of people around the world. For over four decades, his wisdom, humor, common sense and unconditional loving have helped people to discover the Spirit within themselves and find health, peace, and prosperity.

With four co-authored books on the New York Times Bestseller List including a #1 NY Times Bestseller: 'Do It! Let's Get Off Our Buts' to his credit and currently fifty-five books and audio albums, John-Roger offers extraordinary insights on a wide range of topics. John-Roger's most recent books are 'Living the Spiritual Principles of Health & Well-Being', 'Serving & Giving: Gateways to Higher Consciousness' & 'The Rest of Your Life', all co-authored with Dr. Paul Kaye.

John-Roger has co-written and produced two feature films: 'Spiritual Warriors' (2006) and 'The Wayshower' (2010). 'Spiritual Warriors' screened in 55 cities across 23 countries and was the #1 searched 'spiritual film' DVD on Amazon.com in 2008. The Wayshower was co-directed by John-Roger & Jsu Garcia and stars Eric Roberts, Peter Stormare, Jsu Garcia, Howard Lazar, Leigh Taylor-Young and Sally Kirkland. The Wayshower has not yet been released and is screening in film festivals in 2011, including five international film festivals so far, and also screened during the Sundance Film Festival at the Utah Filmmakers Lounge.

Jsu Garcia, star of Atlas Shrugged (as Francisco d'Anconia) and also currently starring in The Wayshower, which he also co-wrote and co-directed with Dr. John-Roger, welcomed the audiences for the Atlas Shrugged screenings at the Landmark Theatre in Westwood April 17th, 2011. Many of the audience came as fans of Ayn Rand, raising their hand to having already read the classic book the movie was based on.
Jsu Garcia has been meeting and greeting with all audiences today at the Westwood screenings of Atlas Shrugged, chatting about the making of the movie, the grassroots marketing and this film's success of it's first release into 300 theatres this weekend. Also happy to share of course about his own feature film, that he wrote and co-directed with John-Roger, The Wayshower, and connecting with so many folks looking for inspiring, uplifting messages from film.
So far the numbers for this weekend's screenings of Atlas Shrugged have been promising ... particularly if the four screenings we saw in Westwood today were any indication. And judging by folks' overwhelmingly positive responses as Jsu and friends chatted with audience members after screenings ... looks like Atlas Shrugged could do very well.

  • I thought you did an excellent job as Francisco! Only problem I had with the movie was there wasn't enough Francisco in it because he's my favorite character in the book. He gives up the most for what he believes.

Waiting with bated breath for Part 2.

  • It was nice of you to have your shirt unbuttoned in the movie, seventies-styel, so that we'd know you were Latino. *rolls eyes*
