My guess is that he had recently wrote "Fall Line" and it was fresh in his mind, due to the fact that On and On didn't come out for another year. He saved it though, never paused or anything.

hot hot hot i wanna be the micro!

its just that when he plays hes in a different word. he leaves the stage. he has no awareness whatsover of the audience.
so if he just feels like nos singing the words for a bit i dont think he actually realizes at the moment that like ppl are waiting for the lyrics :)

he prbbly planned it he usually does that to add some spin on it

ive seen him in concert a bunch of times and he always forgets the words to his songs. normally the crowd starts singing and he remembers them but he prob figured that wouldnt work on nat tv. oooorrr, he really did plan that. either way he's awesome!!! cant wait to see him in aug.
wow JJ is one of those musicians who comes along, picks up his acoustic and impresses everyone without having to rip out a super fast shred solo. its all in those tight grooves and superb song writing. god bless JJ.
