  • whats the lock called at 1:01 i think i need 5 of those with c4 attached to it

  • The problem is that any bike lock can be easily taken off. For a theif with power tools like an angle-grinder, they can cut through any u-lock in seconds.

Make sure your bicycle has insurance

  • @badmanweeds lol

  • What type of cable lock is that?

  • Pretty accurate advice, Well said, That's about the same advice i'd give, This cop knows his stuff.

Pity he didn't give advice on what Locking mechanisms to look out for ie: avoid Pin Type Cylinder locks and get Rotating Disc Type systems.

  • Awesome advice

  • Thank you Ian! :)

  • @badmanweeds bastard

  • Cycking london with an edinburgh accent! love it :)

Ps. Large shops I.e. B&Q, Wicks, Pc World, Curry's, all thoes types of mega store sometimes let you take it in. I for one when im at work let cyclists put there bike in the front of the store.

    It doesn't hurt to ask.!

  • I think the locking technique is pretty good but I wouldn't trust the lock used on the front and definitely do not use that style of lock as your only lock

Personally I think you would be mad to lock a valuable bike up outside in London because locks will only delay a professional thief not stop them

  • pig

  • @MrSolid92 might be illegal as you are impersonating a police officer
