  • Nice review. I hated this album. Being a big DMB fan, got to see em live twice before Leroi passed away and it was awesome. But this album sucks. It's terrible and doesn't contain any of the brilliant original songwriting of under the table and dreaming or before these crowded streets.

  • As I said, I have never really listened to DMB before this, but I really enjoyed it. I definitely have to check out "Before These Crowded Streets".

  • PS Im just fucking around with you man.. the video's not bad and I can say I respect your opinion

  • Never thought you disliked me besides the first post...and thanks.

  • Lying in the Hands of God is one of the pieces of music the band has put out in over a decade. The band obviously agrees because they have put the most effort into evolving that song in a live setting and it is now considered the best song from this album that they play live. Also, Squirm is another song that I think you should have given another chance. I didn't like it at first but really started digging it and it is one of the few songs from this album that has avoided becoming stale.

  • Please tell me about the missing elements not seen here, that were in crowded streets or crash...

  • Excellent review, I think you touched on some fine, positive aspects of the album. Do I think this is the greatest of DMB albums... close but no cigar. Although, something the crew has done in this album, which was lost in the previous was that Louisiana vibe, that true DMB original sound we love. They have brought back the best in the band members,

  • Enjoyed the review, thanks :)

  • i agree with u on the single and i respect u for this review

  • Agreed. Buy Before These Crowded Streets. This is there best album. Songs have alot of different feelings like this album. i recommend songs: The Stone, Crush, Pig, Dreaming Tree, and Spoon

  • hey man, great review, thanks for doing it!

  • eh don't worry bout not being a long time fan. Good review. I've been a DMB fan for only a few years, but I'm huge into them now.
