How The Classical Planets Came to Rule Their Signs of the Zodiac

This is an animation that I put together back in 2005. It explains how the five classical planets came to rule two signs of the zodiac. It is based on an older Medieval Persian myth centered around the Thema Mundi, or the mythical horoscope for the birth of the world. Thanks to Demetra George for her translation of this story from a Greek version, and my sincerest apologies for what I've done to it here.

This was my first attempt at animating something, so its pretty basic.

I added in annotations once I uploaded it to Youtube since the words aren't very clear in the video. You can turn the annotations off if you want by clicking the button in the bottom right corner of the video and then select 'turn annotations off'.
