if smoking is so terrible, why don't they ban it? because the gov't makes lots and lots of money from taxing smokers. it will always be legal.

@strikerk except for when the blade doesn't cut all the way through and they have to reset for a 2nd attempt while the guy is still not completely dead, which does happen

@strikerk Of course it leaves room for error. There have been many prisoners who had to have their necks chopped more than once because the blade was blunt.

Um, the guillotine is one of the most humane ways to kill someone these days. It's perfect and leaves no room for error or suffering.
