Dark Star Orchestra - "Sugar Magnolia"

A short clip of Chicago's Dark Star Orchestra performing an exerpt from the Grateful Dead's chestnut, "Sugar Magnolia." This was the fourth or fifth time I'd seen the band live. There premium musicianship and profoundly great interpretation of the Grateful Dead songbook continues to amaze me as it most certainly did with audience members that night. This version of "Sugar Magnolia" came from a 1978 Giants Stadium show in New York. This performence was filmed October 9th, 2007 at the Clark Center for the Performing Arts in Arroyo Grande, CA.

these guys performed at the venue i work at tonight. i'm not even a fan of the dead, but i've gotta be honest and say that they put on ONE HELL of a show. great musicians all around.

@deweypug LOL. Every sweaty boho chick wth a voice wants to be donna so bad. And it'll never happen. I only really liked donna half of the time anyways, the other haf of the time she was offkey and shrill.
