From someone who has worked in the industry for many years, as soon as someone starts screaming like thatyou apologise and end the call right away, at right around 22 seconds where he starts screaming, I would have apologised and ended the call by the 30 second point, no later. You don't sit there taking it and you don't keep trying to sell your pitch either, you apologise and end the call, simple as that, thats telemarketing 101 ffs.
Yeah I bet they were calling him non stop or something because NOBODY gets that pissed after 1 call and I dont want to hear any different but DAMN he is pissed off!
I would think it's a pretty good indicator that if a customer says, "What the hell do you want?" when you call him, that you should just say, "Thank you for your time.." and hang up instead of launching into your spiel
