This is the second part of the Prologue to Mario Galaxy.

Mario meets up with Rosalina, the princess of the cosmos and gives Mario the power to Spin.(The galatic way)

Mario is then sent on a mission to get back the Grand Star from the evil hands of Bowser. After some celestial travel he rides the Grand Star to the Observatory where Rosalina is waiting.

The Grand Star is then sent hurtling into the Beacon powering the observatory. Mario is sent on a journey to power the observatory with Power Stars on his quest to rescue the princess, once again!
