@Redrocket14, his father pretended to be helpful to everyone. He invoked the need to care for other peoples' health concerns; only the healthy should be voted off. I don't remember the quotes. In one of the final episodes the two were recorded in their bedroom scheming against the very people whom they'd promised to help (it's a pretty famous moment). Mikey emerged the following day and said, "They are playing checkers and my father is playing chess." Arghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Redrocket14, he knowingly benefited from the lies. He knew his father was lying to these people and he just rode it to the finale with a smile. You sycophants can like him all you want, but I'm sick and tired of these low life liars being paraded around on TV as if they were admirable. It's not just this beep-hole and his daddy, it's almost all television nowadays. Our culture is really becoming garbage. The generations who built our country would be ashamed of us.

The reason that comment was so disgusting was that his weasel father was claiming to help sick ppl while all the while he was manipulating them. It's one thing to play the game. It's another thing to lie about his good intentions to help sick pple! Disgusting!

Whaaat?! I beg to differ. First of all, it's a game, people should play along. Second, they were very frank the whole time, they said what they really thought. Third, dispite Ron's fu*d knee and stomach, his age, he was able to loose a great deal of weight, so he's a fighter. Mike is a young gentleman, always looking after his dad. We can see in his eyes he's a nice guy.
