  • This is very interesting & helpful;however, it's a bit irritating to change the Cell and column No. when coppying the formula accross the columns. Perhaps, you need to show us more tricks.

  • Thanks - glad you found it useful. You can make life a bit easier by making the cell reference the VLOOKUP function refers to absolute. To do this, click between the column and row references in the formula bar and press F4, then Enter. Now you'll be able to copy the function across, but you'll still have to change the column reference for each field. I'll post a short video demonstrating this on YouTube.
