This is the second mod I have done to my Xbox 360, and this is the Talismoon Whisper fan max.

this is a great reseller for all the products, For this mod you have to void your xbox 360 warranty. The fan was cheap and came with the blue LED's already installed, also the nitro switch, this changes the speed of the console from 5v to 12v and back again, this button gets placed in the metal holes on the console case and the fan placed in last, it also came with two sets of eight LED's in green and red if you want a different colour from the fans, this also comes with two heatsinks that sit on top of the CPU & GPU on the xbox 360 motherboard, sorry i didn't show these but they are located under the DVD drive, there purpose is to lower the temperature of the components that they sit on, this also comes with some wires that are easy to install, if anyone has any questions about this product, please send me a private message, if you don't live in the UK i will also try to find you a reliable site that sells the same product.

  • that is just so unessisary since you can just add a wire from the dvd drive to the original fan amd it will run at 12v

  • @OmgVegas Or instead of siphoning power from the DVD drive you can just bridge one of the transistors at the back to make it run at 12V constant like I have on my console. But considering these fans move more air than the stock despite what voltage they run at, they are defiantly not unnecessary.

  • Dude i think this is great personally i don't really care if its any louder or what ever the simple fact that its cheap and if gives a cool look with the leds thats all i really want it for just for the leds but are they bright???? is it worth buying

    thanxx

  • @iXiXeroXiXi There pretty bright with your lights out and have a good life expectancy.

  • you open it and install the fan

  • "Whisper" don't make me laugh, these things are no quieter than the stock fans on my jasper :(

And when you switch them to full speed, it's crazy how loud they get. I'm talking you can hear them from the next room, no joke.

Saying that, you should never have to have them on full speed, so that doesn't matter so much.

  • Hello mate just a quick question. Does these fans connect in to where the old fans went or in to the DVD drive if you could reply through private message I would be greatful thanks

  • @dvdripper2010 I HAVE TO INSTALL THE LEDS WTF!

  • @bauerjack1978 The switch is just so you can put it in a faster mode manually, really, it makes no difference as the fan speed will always change it'self when needed, the reason the older consoles overheated isn't because of the fan speed but the level of cooling and air distribution/expulsion.

If you buy the newer fans, they have the option to install the nitro switch or not, your choice, I will PM you with more information.

  • do you have to use the nitro swicth what i mean is i just want to put the fan in and thats it i can,nt be arsed to keep pushing the botton when i think its geting hot , did the old xbox fan spin up faster on there own when they knew its geting hot, just want to know if i do not use the nitro swicth is it the same as my stock fans not sure if the stock fan use to spin up faster on there own

  • xbox 360 is not a loud system if Microsoft not being cheap about and add some whisper fan...those cheap shank

  • @dvdripper2010 Theres so many videos of people installing these it would have been pointless for me to ,ake a video.
