@joelostrom86 I agree if anyone in country music should have done this its George Strait. But I like Brad to, and he did a great job. Everyone needs to get over the democrat/republican shit, that is what holds us back. Lets just support each other as Americans. I will have to disagree with you on one thing, George definitely could have made good speach and been from the heart, he is just a good guy. GS servered our country and respects anyone who is president.

i agree, George Strait probably should have been mentioned but it's dead obvious why George Strait isn't there. George Strait = Texas = hardcore Republican
Brad Paisley made a moving speech showing his respect for Obama during his performance. And even if he's a republican at heart, he came across very genuine. I doubt George Strait could have made the same speech and been believable.

I say.. Both George Strait & Brad Paisley are cool! I dont think it really matters.. but oh well. Thanks Brad for performing at the White House! It was wonderful!!
