Yeah it's kinda weird. For soccer in the US the main format is home-away but because most other sports here use the away-home format some networks or local stations decide to keep it that way mostly because they're too lazy to change the format.

Am I missing something? That looked like he missed the ball completely. I think the refs are sub par in this sport, but that one looked right to me

I don't have a problem with biased commentators. Sometimes I prefer biased commentators. But the way these two were criticizing the penalty call... ridiculous. "I'm gonna call it as I see it, that's a terrible terrible call." No, you called it how you WANTED to see it.
